Clay Tempered: The blade has been clay tempered in order to harden the cutting edge while still allowing the spine to remain flexible. The tempering process imbues the blade with a distinctive Hamon (blade pattern).
This blade is hand polished using the Shiage togi process creating a mirror like finish on the blade. This finishing process brings out and enhances all details of the blade so that they are readily visible creating a blade free of any visual imperfections.
Cost: Express Shipping to the USA for $19.95 on all orders (includes Alaska and Hawaii); and Express shipping to Canada for $39.95. Note that for USA orders over $800 USD, Customs Charges may apply (more info).
