Year In Review: Best Swords Of 2022

We're ending 2022 with bang! Throughout the year, we've seen a huge growth in our collection with some new additions to our Anime swords and a number of new hand forged katanas. We've also released an entire lineup of Sword Art Online which made the year even more exciting. Let's look back at some of the favorites that made it to our list of best selling swords for the year 2022.

Fantasy Swords: Bleach, Demon Slayer and More

This sword is a replica of Kyojuro Rengoku Nichirin katana. This sword is a deep shade of red-orange in color with the words Destroy Demons engraved on the side. Combined with a flame pattern on each side of the blade with a white handle and a tsuba to match, this sword is his best companion.

This is a replica of Tanjiro Kamado Nichirin Katana. This sword is deep black in color, and has the words "Slay" engraved on the side. The original tsuba is a black ring connected to its core by lines with a border of the same color, which heavily resembles a wagon wheel in appearance.

This sword is a replica of Kisuke Urahara's Zanpakutō Benihime. Usually in the form of a cane, when released, it changes into a sword that is notable for its lack of Tsuba (replaced by a blade-covering guard) and for its crimson tassel. It is one of the few Zanpakutō with a female spirit owned by a male.

This sword is a replica of Giyu Tomioka Nichirin Katana sword. His katana is in a shade of dark blue, complementing his breathing style, Water Breathing. The tsuba is hexagonal shaped with a bronze core and with an overlapping red border and his scabbard is black in color. On the side of his katana, the words "Destroy Demons" are carved.

Collectors and Martial Arts Swords

Ever a fan favourite with its stunning dragon sheath, this Katana bears a stunningly blue blade and an artistically detailed Tsuba. Hand-crafted using traditional forging techniques. For martial artists or collectors, this will make a wonderful conversation or practice piece.

You'll be instantly drawn to the intricately designed tsuba of this entry-level sword. It is made with a single Bo-Hi to make it lighter and topped off with a speckled Saya for a complete classic look. Perfect for the beginning collector or trainer.

This katana channels the energy and power of the sun. With gold and orange colours paired with a watchful eagled tsuba, this sword  commands strength and power to its bearer.

Honourable mentions - Gaining in Popularity

This sword is a replica of Sōsuke Aizen's Illusion-Type Zanpakutō Kyōka Suigetsu. The sword has a hexagonal Tsuba and a green Tsuka. Its Shikai is released by the word "Kudakero", the sword creates an illusion that the target will attack as an enemy. The hypnosis is so strong that the target is compelled to attack it even if the target is aware that it's only an illusion.

This is a replica of Inosuke Hashibira double Nichirin Katanas. These swords he shaped a jagged edge like a beast's teeth and jaws, perfect for tearing through flesh, which is more to his liking. They don't have a tsuba or scabbard, but rather uses bandages to tie his katanas, unlike his fellow Demon Slayers.

This sword is a replica of the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki's melee-type Zanpakutō Zangetsu marked by a long blade. Its Shikai, Getsuga Tenshō, releases a ranged wave attack of spiritual energy, while its Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, amplifies the Getsuga Tenshō to an untold extent.

This is a replica of the twin Nichirin Cleavers of Tengen Uzui.  He uses two gigantic Nichirin cleavers that are amber in color, which each have a notch in the sharp ends of their blades and are held together at the tsuku by a metal chain, making them very reminiscent to nunchucks. His swords are said to have large amounts of explosive power.

This is a replica of Yoriichi Tsugikuni Nichirin Katana. Yoriichi is the greatest swordsman to have ever lived and the first person ever to be able to turn his Nichirin Sword into a bright red color as he was born with the mark that presumably gave users the ability to turn their blade bright red.

This Katana stands out with a delicate flower tsuba paired with the colour purple. Finished with a textured red saya creating a perfect contrast, this sword is stunning and functional. Great for collectors or practitioners.

Kikoku is designed to resemble the Japanese sword known as a Nodachi. This sword has an oblong-shaped hand-guard coated with short white fur, sheathed in a black scabbard decorated by white crosses from the opening to the bottom, and with a small piece of red or white rope tied near its opening.
